What’s up family! Welcome to my blog. I am extremely excited you are here. My name is Austin Jones. I am a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. Furthermore, I was a five-year member of the men’s varsity basketball team. Through my basketball career, I was able to surpass 1,000 career points, which is a gigantic accomplishment. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Business Data Analytics. I am the son of Martin and Angela Jones. Also, I am the brother of Martin II and Brandon Jones.
As a Christian, my sole purpose in life is to embrace the characteristics Jesus Christ has given me, so he can be glorified. Some Christ-like characteristics I believe I embody are servanthood, compassion, kindness, and humbleness. Although there are many more characteristics, I would like to challenge myself and others who believe in Jesus to embrace the Christ-like characteristics that are inside of you. In my generation, it is easy for people to get caught up in following trends and doing things that have selfish intent (trust and believe I can be one of those people). However, I had to ask myself the question: “Who am I glorifying ?”. Since I asked myself that question, I was encouraged to create this blog and come up with the title “Our Story His Glory”. I want to encourage you to go to the book (The Bible) and understand that whatever you are going through the Bible has a solution for it. Whether you know nothing about God, a little about God, or a lot about God, this blog is meant to create spiritual growth. add another page.
