Joy In The Morning

Recently, I have been encountering many challenges within my life. Although these challenges are helping me grow, they can become pressuring at times. It becomes easy for me to become bogged down and worried about if I can make it through the challenges I face. God will place challenges in our lives to position us for greater; but, The challenges can be difficult to get through. Nevertheless, I recently came across a scripture within the book of Psalms that gave me hope and encouragement. The book of Psalms is a book of prayers and praises that was compromised primarily by David who was a servant of God.

Psalms 30:5 says, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor, a lifetime. Weeping may stay overnight, but there is joy in the morning.” (Christian Standard Bible). In other words, we may go through trials but God can deliver us. Also in Psalms 30:11-12, it says, “You turned my lament into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness so that I can sing to you and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.” (Christian Standard Bible). To give context, David is praising God for always delivering him from his low points in his life. David realizes that God is able to do good work from a bad situation.

It is paramount for us to take heed of tribulations in our lives. That is a perfect opportunity for God to work with his mighty hand.
